Cheese and Wine Pairings


Pairing wine and beer with cheese is easy if you know a few simple secrets. White wines, especially fruity ones, or those with residual sugar like Rieslings and dessert wines, make great cheese companions. Big, robust red wines with lots of tannins tend to get overwhelmed by cheese. Instead, opt for a softer, subtler red wine. Try stronger cheeses with beers and lagers.
